Welcome to Cringletie House, a luxurious, romantic and comfortable small country house hotel and restaurant, the only AA Top 200 Hotel in the Scottish Borders, just south of Edinburgh, Scotland.
The castle type Victorian baronial mansion is set in the tranquil and rural countryside, where sheep outnumber humans! The house dates back to 1861 and the walled garden goes back as far as 1661, when the first Cringletie House was built.
The hotel has 13 inidividually designed rooms, all furnished to the highest standards, across three catagories: Principal, Deluxe and Standard.
The hotel's own restaurant serves contemporary dishes prepared by awards winning chef, Paul Hart. The food can be enjoyed in the Sutherland Room with its beautiful, hand painted trompe l'oeuil ceiling and real log open fire.
It is ideally situated for tours through the Borders, visits to Edinburgh, Rosslyn Chapel and the Glenkinchie Distillery.
