Culzean Castle is located less than 4 miles from Turnberry's prestigious Ailsa Course, making it an ideal base from which to attend the 138th British Open Golf Championship.
The Eisenhower Apartment (on the top floor of the castle, completely self-contained from the remainder of the building) operates as a small country house-style hotel. Guests access the accommodation using an original 1920's elevator.
Comprising of six bedrooms, the Eisenhower Apartment can accommodate up to twelve guests in comfort. The circular drawing room offers panoramic views over the Firth of Clyde towards the Island of Arran. The elegant private dining room serves the best of Scottish foods, including fruit and vegetables from Culzean's Walled Garden
Culzean Castle, is pleased to offer the Eisenhower Apartment on an 'exclusive use' basis for the week of Monday 13 to Sunday 19 July 2009 (inclusive) at a rate of 25,000 pounds, based on a maximum of 12 guests sharing the accommodation (six bedrooms, Drawing Room and Dining Room). This tariff includes afternoon tea, full Scottish breakfast and VAT.
